First Weeks 4D Homework
Our homework for the week is fairly simple, find one piece of media that inspires you in each of the following areas:
- Still, such as photos or sculptures
- Video, with a limit of 5mins, but can be from anything (porn?)
- Advertising, any form
- Audio, anything from music to random sounds
For my still piece I have chosen a painting remixed by Banksy the infamous tagger/political artist.
The video I selected is truly one of my favorites. It was created using painting with light and frame by frame animation techniques.
The advertising bit took me a bit longer than the others to find. After sending 20 minutes looking through my old Communication Arts advertising annuals, I remembered a very funny video I saw on youtube - “The Wind.”
For the final audio piece I decided on a song by CocoRosie. Their music is very strange, but I love it.
